Unfortunately, this bout with cold and snow won't do anything to kill off our Massachusetts tick population. Ticks are increasingly on the move in temperatures about 40 degrees Fahrenheit, which we're regularly encountering. It's actually more important, and effective, to apply that barrier around the perimeter with low-impact products. We also consult with homeowners on some of the "little things" you can do to remove the conditions that are conducive to ticks, such as heavy leaf clutter and debris.

We hope you find this information helpful in doing everything you can to stay protected from ticks and the diseases they may carrier such as Lyme disease in Massachusetts
