July is one of the most active months of the year for ant control near Boston, Massachusetts. The summer heat, coupled with moisture in the form of rain and humidity, creates conditions that allow ants near Boston to thrive. 
Here are three tips for ant control near Boston this summer:
1- Follow them home! If you see ants walking across your counters or floor, try to follow one with your eyes to see where the nest may be located. Ants will generall return to their nest because they share food with the colony. By attempting to locate a carpenter ant nest, you're one step closer to solving the problem.
2- Identify sources of moisture. All ants, but epecially carpenter ants in Massachusetts, need mositure to thrive.
